I’m no fan of Shatter but blocking a charity fundraiser for an ambulance service is a really bad look.

Despite Shatter winning a couple of libel cases recently the same anti-semites that infest the Irish left are making this country look anti-semitic by protesting (checks notes) the [Israeli member of the Red Cross](https://www.mdais.org/en/redcross/join-mda). Ireland does have a principled role to play in calling out the Israeli states genocide against the Palestinians and the destabilisation of Lebanon. Idiots like this undermine that stance and make it easy for Israel to smear us.

Pretty simple for me really, if it’s Alan shatter I’m against it. He’s hasbara and a bad actor imo.
