La presidente Catherine Connolly nomina i membri del Consiglio di Stato

Uachtarán na hÉireann, Catherine Connolly, has today appointed seven people to serve as members of the Council of State in accordance with Article 31 of the Constitution.

The appointees are as follows:

* Fionnuala Ní Aoláin
* Linda Ervine
* Colin Harvey
* Kathleen Lynch
* Donncha O’Connell
* Conor O’Mahony
* Ciarán Ó hÓgartaigh

Good selection

All academics and not a single practitioner. Not surprising, but a bit too clichéd.
