This is honestly a pretty good reality check on who actually supports Greece in Cyprus and who doesn’t. It also shows how much of an echo chamber Reddit really is.
If you relied only on Reddit, you’d think this was some super divisive issue with all sorts of hidden agendas behind it. In reality, most people don’t see it that way at all.

“Intervention” is a misleading term. The statistical report says “reinforcement”. I think the two are drastically different in terms of sensationalism.

Not that I disagree with the idea that most people approve of the Greece aid and especially the European support, but the linked poll has stated that 80+% of the people questioned are definitely going to vote for the parliamentary elections.
Given that I sincerely doubt that the actual number comes anywhere near close to that, it probably means that the people in the sample are more involved in politics, and people that are more involved in politics are more prone to agree with their political parties. In this case, the majority of the political parties approved/approves of the 3 points mentioned here so it seems more favourable overall.
I doubt that the people that WONT vote in May (which let’s be honest, it is probably half the population) have as positive view to the foreign policy as given here, or the crisis management etc.

Cyprus has three grantor powers, are we ok with all of them bringing their war machines here?
