weird, is there cables going into the bins ? I’ve spotted similar stuff to this as a temporary solution to storing some monitoring hardware for traffic cameras maybe the ESB is doing something similar with some electrical monitoring hardware. Strapping them up high on the poles instead of just padlocking the bins is a new one though.

I believe they are running some cabling into the new estates, and this was storing something… I parked right beside it, and my wife was like “what the fuck?”
