      With the security situation in Europe, countries are starting to tighten rules so people can’t just leave if conscription or reserve call-ups become necessary. Reality is hitting.

      Yeah well it was originally meant for wartime. So yeah needing the permission in peacetime was bullshit

    7. This was law for decades before (when Germany had compulsory military service) and nobody cared.
