Here’s the problem. Even *if* the Gov strikes a deal with the Road Haulage Association / ICMSA / ICSA etc, it won’t necessarily stop the blockades. The lads on the ground actually blocking the motorways / fuel depots / ports / refineries can simply say “not good enough” and we’re no closer to ending this then we were a week ago.

FF and FG have abandoned the middle to lower class.
This is about the cost of living, an unusual vector for it to come from but it’s roots are in the cost of living.
If you are under 40 or still living at home, groceries through the roof, rampant greed, extortionate rent, shrinkflation, shit public services, fuck all public transport then you should support this protest.
This problem has been brewing for awhile and our supposedly leaders are way out of ideas and way out of touch, this war is obviously the kindle.

Id like to say thanks to the absolute scumbags who verbally abused my wife who turned onto the slip for the M7 where she thought she had gone around the protest
Her Google maps had stopped working and she had our 11 year old and 1 year old child in the car and asked for help but was met with nothing but vile abuse following which the two brave men scuttled off back to drink cans in the back of a truck trailer
