      Protests continue while govt negotiates with approved organisations. Senior member of govt party and former speaker of lower house warned govt weeks ago it was ignoring the huge problems in agriculture. Says he has never seen the depth of anger toward FFG from the farming community that he has seen recently. Smaller opposition party wants vote of no confidence in govt.

      The vote will almost certainly be defeated if it goes ahead. Real division between Dublin urban, wealthier class and rural. It’s a mess.

    2. So there’s a shortage of oil that leads to higher fuel prices. As such you decide to block the countrys only refinery?

      God, what a disaster. Hope a solution is found soon, and not one pushed for by potential insincere actors under the guise of a problem.

      where are the people defending protesters saying that they should be disruptive ?

      i’m so over people protesting, like if you want to change something go voted , otherwise just don’t unconvenience everyone else …
