For all the flack he gets, there has been so much quiet success, from workers rights, to renters rights, to statesmanship on the international scene. The media seem especially hostile to someone who has been decent and worked with some difficult constraints. (Mistakes too, Mandleson and business NI rises, but a world apart from the decades of corruption and total incompetence from Truss, May, Johnson et al.
