Simple law change, charge the dog owner as if they inflicted the injury or death themselves. So in this case, manslaughter. If they claim it is one of their children’s dogs, charge both parents.

Bloody hell. A 3 month old baby was killed by a dog in my home town last week.
Is there just more reports on these things now or are there more killer dogs these days?

Hardly anyone in this country trains their dogs. We need to make that part of the responsibility of dog ownership. Even the more aggressive breeds can be trained in a way that makes this far, far less likely.

I’m a posty and a colleague of mine was bitten by 3 dogs really badly yesterday. The woman answered the door and just let them out and they attacked her. I’ve been bitten three times in the last year and confronted another couple of times too. All totally unavoidable. It isnt the dogs, it’s the owners negligence.
