    > WASHINGTON, April 16 (Reuters) – U.S. officials have informed European counterparts that some previously contracted weapons deliveries are likely to be delayed as the Iran war continues to draw on weapons stocks, three sources familiar with the matter said.

    > The sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity as the communications were not public, said several European countries will be affected, including in the Baltic region and ‌in Scandinavia.

    > Some of the weapons in question were purchased by European countries under the Foreign Military Sales program, or FMS, but have not yet been delivered, the sources added. Those deliveries will likely be delayed, the sources said.

    > The White House, Pentagon and State Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

No shit, these dickheads threw away their entire arsenal to bomb the Middle East, if they get in a fight with China now what are they going to do? Throw fireworks at them?

Another reason why we need a strong European arms industry

Good moment to cancel and switch to European options.

That is not a problem. Just expect payment and order delays.

Wild that the US Military thought their munitions stocks were enough to fight China, yet 5 weeks of bombing Iran, and they need to delay previously agreed weapons sales to restock

What happened to their “can fight two peer nations on separate fronts at once” doctrine?

The fuck are we paying these fuckers for? Is this what it’s like doing business with Trump? Pay and never get what you paid for.

Evidence No 352 on why you should not pay in advance the US.

Hanlon’s Razor: It’s possible that between their DOGE and anti-DEI efforts, they’ve fired so many productive people that we’re beginning to see their institutions beginning to break down.

They struggled to make Patriots at scale even in the before times. Fuck knows what the state of their personnel must be now.

And not just new weapons delivery… there already was a big pressure on F-35 parts for example, leading to poor availability amongst other factors.

The high tempo of operations leads to a large increase in spares, for which the US and Israel have precedence.

Amazing that Europe pays and Trump spends but doesn’t deliver 🤷‍♂️
