State of the country with housing, health and education he should be long gone already.

FF need a clear out from the front bench and go back to the member led organisation it once was tbh. The front bench and all leadership positions are stacked with those loyal to him.

Martin deserves credit for bringing the party back from the brink but has stayed too long and alienated many members, especially the republican wing of the party. His personal opinions on the north and SF have damaged him.

Like the talk of running candidates in the North had massive support but was shut down by Martin and O’Cuiv left out in the cold over it. All because O’Cuiv was a genuine threat to Martin, a lot of the O’Cuiv wing of the party are now knocking on doors for SF. While O’Cuiv is doing fantastic work with republican prisoners.

We would be much closer to a United Ireland if O’Cuiv was in the driving seat and would most likely have an FF/SF coalition government.

Having met him on a number of occasions (father was staunch FF). He is a decent fella but his time is up.

This is probably going to be a deeply unpopular opinion. But I really think Michael Martin has been vastly competent throughout his career before and even as Taoiseach and you can see him in dealings with people like Trump or other international relations. Obviously, domestic policy has been an absolute shambles and is just dragging him down inch by inch as that is just the focus of issues now.

When he leaves the party, the government is going to look so fucking stupid.

There is not one person you look across the co-alition and think yeah they could step up. Just incompetent reactive ministers who by and large have proven time and again how out of touch they are with the public.

For the sake of this country, they all need the boot, and if they do, watch it, 90% of them will not last the great culling that will come internally.

If he’s leaving this is his chance to do something really big for the people. Give us something that will wipe out any ill will on your way out. I suggest mobilise on solar panels for everyone.

It’s the Party, the ideology of FF and FG, not the interchangeable leaders who we have had to live under that us the real problem

Watch all the morons be happy that he is gone and then vote FF/FG next election anyway
