Well, the good news in terms of the ongoing Starmer saga is that if he does resign, this is unlikely to change in the next parliament – Miliband has a degree of competency that’s managing to piss off our right which is something I only ever see as a good thing in the current climate.
i’d like to think that this drive will also push the wider European continent to move closer to full decarbonisation before the 2050 deadline.

This is promising, but I really hope a chunk of that money goes into cross‑border interconnectors and storage, not just cables. Otherwise we’ll still waste a ton of renewable potential.
