I don’t agree the park should be renamed. However, the Palestinian protestors have a right to campaign for it and play a match there. Pro-Israel people have a right to counter protest. It was all peaceful
Renaming it is a shit look to be honest. The country is clearly pro-Palestinian and stands against the actions of the Israeli government but shit like this just makes us look like bigots. Doesn’t achieve anything but make us look like we cannot be trusted to comment from a place of neutrality.
They’d be well used to a bit of occupation!
