The majority of foreigners fighting for Ukraine now come from South America. Their top need is help with flight costs. Their flights are expensive and salaries in their home countries are low. If a South American volunteer in Ukraine needs to travel home for family emergencies or after injury, that is a huge burden on them and their families.

This is a Brazilian volunteer who needed to head home after long service in Ukraine. He was able to do that thanks to a donor who used their airline miles. This is the message he gave us to say thank you for his flight:
