At one point i think he has to take a boat ;> But maybe if he goes from the one end to the other on a boat, it can be considered walking 😀

I hitchiked part of this route. Also Europe to Japan (but ended up in the Philippines lol).
It is possible. Tho it was much easier 10 years ago when things were calmer on the Iranian side (and Myanmar).
I’d say, it’s fun. Especially dealing with changes of plans and getting all the visas. I had to smile and lie a lot for some of the visas :)) it’s also easier now as most of the Stan states (except Turkmenistan) relaxed their visa policies a lot.
Check caravanistan forum. There’s quite few people hitchhiking, biking, even walking on the old roads.

There’s a British guy that is still walking from Patagonia back to UK (Karl Bushby) without using any vehicles, he even crossed Bering Straight without a boat
So, yea, it’s possible, but takes a very long time – we’re talking years

Remember – swimming doesn’t count, you have to walk on the floor of sea, ocean.

People will do anything to get as far away from Radom as possible, especially people from Radom.

Have you looked at the prices of plane tickets from Poland to Japan? This is probably cheaper. More dignified than flying economy, too.
