In the North of Moldova is a place worth visited: Toltres near Prut river. These are like small mountains, in fact are old coral recifs, remaining from former Sarmatian Ocean. Villages to be visited mostly are Varatic, Duritoarea Veche, Fetesti, Brînzeni, and some more around these. Also, in this region is the lake Stânca-Costești, clean water and beautiful beaches.
