      If the statistic is true, Im shocked by it. In their own country, Georgians are some of the most law abiding people anywhere. So, what would cause such a transformation?

      Its really weird that no one ever really talks about that here. These statistics are only ever referanced against arabs, turks, balkan ppl etc. I’ve never heard a right wing politician blame “Georgians” for the problems in the country.

      Its not just petty and organized crime, but also drunk sloppy crime.

      For example, [roughly 10% of the number of Georgians legally residing in Poland were caught committing crimes in 2023](https://notesfrompoland.com/2025/02/04/poland-dealing-with-wave-of-imported-crime-from-georgian-immigrants-says-interior-minister/), indeed somewhere in the order of magnitude of 4% of the Georgian citizens then in Poland were specifically caught drunk driving in 2023. It would be hard to overstate how wild that is. There were [49700](https://www.statista.com/statistics/1338244/poland-number-of-dui-crimes/) drunk driving incidents detected in a country in 2023 with a population of 36.69 million, we’re talking about 0.0013% of Poles. Thats an incidence of detected drunk driving at 1.3 per hundred thousand, which is being dwarfed by an apparent incidence rate around 4,000 per hundred thousand.

      Hey so who reported me? I made a comment about my recent visit to Southern Italy where locals told me about the problem they have with crime committed by people from Georgia. Anyway for that simple comment Reddit sent me a warning for “promoting hate based on identity” which is absolutely ridiculous. All I did was share an experience, I said nothing about Georgian people nor attacked them in any way.
