Conto usa e getta per motivi personali.
Abbiamo presentato domanda al nostro piccolo più di un anno fa per la classe più bassa. UN "amico" ha fatto domanda a suo figlio qualche mese fa per lo stesso corso. Ci è stato detto che c’è una lista d’attesa, ma hanno ricevuto un posizionamento. Ho chiesto come e lei mi ha detto che suo marito ha gestito la richiesta e lei non conosce i dettagli.
Per una scuola materna, la scuola non effettua test e non incontra i bambini o i genitori durante il processo di candidatura. Hanno corrotto qualcuno, o perché hanno preso la casa mentre noi no? Se c’è una lista d’attesa avremmo dovuto essere molto più in alto di loro. Siamo tutti della stessa nazionalità, i bambini hanno 1 mese di differenza di età. Nessun fratello già a scuola.
Come funziona l’ISM? Le persone pagano davvero tangenti elevate a qualcuno nella scuola? Le voci che sento a Monaco sono vere? Corruzione? La selezione certamente non sembra giusta.

Donations or contacts. It’s a business with a board, they don’t have to be fair.
I can’t speak about ISM Monaco specifically, but I have personal experience with a top-tier IB school in Asia that operated similarly. Admissions priority was given first to families from embassies and the UN, with remaining spots allocated partly based on donations to the school. This is fairly standard practice at many international schools, simply because running a world-class campus with top facilities is extremely expensive. It’s not bribery – it’s how these institutions sustain themselves financially while managing limited capacity as a private school.
Donations. A friend dropped 25k and the school has no problem that they travel extensively and the child is missing days.
Don’t waste your time.
Way better to have your child home schooled with a call in teacher and enrolling your child into outside activities.
