    1. >The coroner said that soldiers who’d been interviewed at the time by the Royal Military Police had been given a cipher.

      >The cipher list which identified them by name had since been lost along with other military documents.

      >The coroner said it was “unclear how this came to be”.

      >He said this lack of documentation made it difficult to identify the soldiers who fired the fatal shots.

      How convenient for these murderers.

      These people weren’t killed.

      They were murdered.

I’ve always said the biggest tragedy of the troubles is when you look back on the Countless Atrocities

the vast majority of them no one was ever held accountable for

      for 2 more examples

      Bloody Sunday

      The Dublin Monaghan Bombings

no one was ever held accountable for any of it

I’m being anecdotal here but there’s a lot of people you’ll find in this sub that believe that the GFA means that you simply forgot about these atrocities committed by the British State.
I think a state military should be held a lot more accountable than any paramilitary group

If you ask me, they didn’t lose control; they knew exactly what they were doing, and they knew their commanders, all the way back to Whitehall, were okay with it.
