Local Starlings love scraps. Don’t have a feeder though.

Its important that they maintain a 2 meter distance at all times and not gather in groups of more than 4.

It says don’t use bird feeders, but what about just throwing food out for them? We feed some birds in our garden but generally just by scattering some seed round the place.

So it’s the bird feeders causing the disease? Is it the specific seed or the shared feeding device causing the spread?

It sounds like it should be “public advised not to use bird feeders”.

The article has very little information. Which birds? What food?

    5. I have a bird bath with a little dish on the side for seeds… take it that’s a no go too?
