The way things are going it might be for the best.

But Europe needs nukes. It’s obvious we can’t trust the USA, and it’s not safe to rely on only one country (France).

Putins threatening people with his puppet again..

I hope people come to realize that it isn’t “if” trump will betray the alliance. He already has. It isn’t a leverage game or a trade negotiation tactic. It’s treason and betrayal, to the death.

He has been wanting to do this for a while it’s less than the 12 thousand he did in his first term before Biden stopped it and it was expected that they’d withdraw to the levels pre 2022

isn’t US unofficially EU’s enemy right now? why only 5000 and not all?

Since USA is distancing itself from both the EU, “allies” and NATO there is just two options for the orange one.
Increase or decrease the number of soldiers on foreign military bases.

Will this finally convince Merz to cease clinging to his foolish belief that Atlanticism isn’t dead?

    Nope.

I wish I felt so safe like those Western Europeans who

The U.S. currently has 36,000 troops in Germany.

Is this going to be a gradual, complete drawdown or is Trump just pretending to do something important again?

I am Canadian. Do most people in Europe even care if US withdraws their troops? As I understand people in Europe hate Trump and MAGA Americans as much as people in Canada. Wouldn’t you want US to pack up and leave? China is not a threat to Europe and Russia can’t even take half of Ukraine. US seems to be the biggest threat to Europe so them leading would be a good thing, no?

They shoot themselves on the foot, and then act as if they were making the Germans a favour for staying there.

Good, I don’t want US troops here in Europe. A gradual removal of them is fine with me. It lights a collective fire under our asses, to free ourselves from USA. About time Europe gains independence from them.

  13. Germany should offer to help by shuttering Ramstein. If Ramstein were to ever close, the US military would be screwed and they’d be limited to being a regional, as in western hemisphere only, power because without Germany none of their tech works. Germany, more specifically Ramstein, is where the US satellite uplink stations are that allow communications from the US to a drone or air craft carrier operating on the other side of the planet. Kind of the problem living on a round planet – radio signals can’t penetrate through it.

Translation- Incontinent sex offender throws temper tantrum because EU leaders think he’s a moron.

  15. We Germans say “Reisende soll man nicht aufhalten”.

Means “don’t hold back people who want to leave”

Good, they can all go – nobody wants you here morons!

Not going to happen. Case in point:

Remember when the US pulled its troops completely from Iraq last year but miraculously US troops in Iraq were attacked by Iran this year?

How could that be if there were no US troops left in Iraq?

Dude pulls these people put then rotates them right back in when no one is looking.
