Ho avuto una settimana un po’ dura, quindi ho deciso che mi sarei alzato presto oggi per ascoltare il coro dell’alba per un po’ di benessere – sono così felice di averlo fatto perché sono riuscito a catturare un chiurlo. Non l’ho visto né lei, ma li ho sentiti. E semplicemente sedendoti accanto a una finestra aperta!
Consiglierei sicuramente un po’ di coro all’alba "bagno sonoro" per una purificazione dell’anima. Sono sveglio dalle 5 del mattino, ma ne vale la pena 💛

Amazing that you heard the Curlew! I love this app! I managed to record a cuckoo last year, was very happy with myself. I’m up the crack of dawn most mornings and there’s something magical about the dawn course.
As a biologist working in North America this app is a daily user and so intuitive!!

It has been great hearing it recently and the good weather too. I remember using Merlin on a work trip in Mexico and when my colleagues asked what I was at I said, “It is like Shazam for birds”. I got the piss taken out of me for a bit for that lol

I wake up at 5am everyday. Hearing the “dawn chorus” is an important part of my day. I feel grateful to be alive
Went for a walk in Kilmagig forest yesterday to go see the Red Kites, and hopefully log their call on Merlin. Saw 4 of them but heard no call, but the forest was so peaceful, I was the only soul around.
Did see a Raven and a Kite have an aerobatic duel above the car park before I left, so cool.
