      Also inside Israel. This has been strongly condemned in Israel by all sides of the political spectrum and the suspect has been arrested and will face heavy charges. The guy is nuts and everyone in Israel is against it. BTW, they would be regardless to the identity of the victim – but even more so in such a textbook hate crime.

      It’s funny that when anything Christian is touched in the region suddenly European politicians are super concerned to the point when fake apologies are issued in Israel. But years of violence and harassment towards Muslims is always somehow swept under the rug (or at least an attempt at doing so is carried out)

      This is just the tip of the iceberg, violences, wether they are verbal or physic against Christian are widespread in Israel and have been going on for a long time now.

      Attacks against Christians of all types are greatly increasingly in all societies, but especially in Muslim dominated societies, or where there is a militant Muslim presence. I have heard from Egyptian Coptics, for example. Practicing their religion is dangerous. Coptics are regularly heated, killed and their churches burned.

      Israel is not in Europe. However Europe (UK) “gave” this land to the Jewish community.
      So is Israel therefore a European country? And if it is, should we in Europe recognise it was a mistake to hijack this land and give it away ?? It is causing more problems world wide then it fixed.

      I mean if you read the Old Testament this about the mildest thing God’s chosen people do to outsiders.
      While Westeners are aware how the Quran oredrs Muslims to treat nonbelievers (poorly) and the people of the book (less poorly) most people don’t really understand that the Old Testament is basically the holy scripture the Israelis. And it contains a very different message than the New Testament.
      Conquest, bigotry, enslavement, r*pe, p*do stuff, incest, unreasonable violence, tribalism. It sends the opposite message as the New Testament.

      This is why I am always baffled when someone talks about Judeo-Christian culture. Christianity is at about equally distance from Judaism and Islam.
