Very systematically the AFU went about making this possible; once the front line was “stable” they took the opportunity to target the Russian air defense in a very focused manner. That made getting to the logistics in Russia and Russia’s backfield in Ukraine much easier. With air defense getting scarce and logistics in a mess, the orcs *still* chose to launch their spring offensive.

The AFU have been playing chess (masterfully I might add) while the orcs are trying to learn checkers.
