My wife got a genuine letter in the mail from EMD that had virtually the same wording but doesn’t contain the bank details like that or a Revolut QR code.

If you don’t have an outstanding bill with Epic, ignore it. If you do I’d call EMD/Epic and try to resolve it.

I’d lean on the side of this being a scam given the Revolut QR code.

I’ll be honest with you, I’ve heard legit cases of these things happening with Epic. Surely a quick qall to Epic would be clearer than asking redditors tho.

No shit it is. A QR code for Revolut and a BOV bank account.

The revolut QR code takes you to a revolut account for a Richard Padovani. A bit of Google detective work has a profile with a Richard Padovani that works at Epic. Could be a big coincidence. This feels incredibly unprofessional though.
