Qualcun altro pensa che affittare a Cipro sia inutilmente difficile?
Di recente ho cercato appartamenti e, onestamente, la maggior parte dei siti web immobiliari locali ritiene:
– obsoleto,
– disordinato,
– pieno di elenchi duplicati,
– e terribile se stai cercando di trovare coinquilini.
Così ho iniziato a costruire la mia alternativa moderna focalizzata maggiormente sull’esperienza dell’affittuario e sull’abbinamento dei coinquilini.
È ancora presto e lo sto migliorando attivamente, ma volevo chiedere:
Qual è la cosa che odi di PIÙ delle piattaforme di affitto/proprietà a Cipro?
Cerco sinceramente idee e feedback dalla gente del posto perché sto cercando di creare qualcosa di veramente utile invece di un altro sito di elenchi di spam.

Apparently whenever real estate agents take photos of a place it’s the first time they ever used a camera and they forget half the place exists.
Also nobody wants to put the location because it’s like top secret. It’s always like “Strovolos”… thanks, that narrows it down to half of Nicosia.
You should know that only licensed agents here on Cyprus could advertise and make marketing materials about real estate.
So you need to ask agencies somehow to post ads on your site.
you may face some legal issues in the future, if you will post ads on your behalf. Also some eu regulations prohibit you to use ads from other sites.

I hate how much they push you to give them your email. Like on BuySell you can’t even view all the property’s pictures without “signing in” aka giving them your email so they can spam you to death.

That’s a very good platform idea honestly. Another thing missing in Cyprus rental platforms is transparency:
whether common expenses are included or not
internet / pet / parking information
realistic commute times
landlord or agency reviews
And for roommates specifically, there’s basically no trust or safety system. It would be really useful to have verified profiles, lifestyle matching (cleanliness, smoking, schedules, etc.) and maybe even short intro videos.
Probably two things I really don’t appreciate.
First, is that they write false information about the apartment most of the time. There’s this and that and then suddenly you go there and they’re like no there isn’t, as if you’re making things up 🙃😐 or that useless energy efficiency certificate. They write A or A+ when it clearly isn’t.
Second thing is when the listing isn’t removed or mentioned that it’s no longer available. You have your hopes up asking about an apartment, only to find out that it’s no longer available but they didn’t bother to remove the listing.

Please carry on! One thing is the location advertiser should be forced to place the address in order to publish it, although it won’t displayed to the public. Basically the advertiser shouldn’t be able to put a pin on the map just a verified address, or address is given from the metadata of the uploaded pics 😂

Its mainly for buying land rather than lending. If you get a plot’s area and sqm from bazaraki, you can plug it in and it will show you exactly where the plot is on the map.
Leaving good and cheap listings online that are no longer or never were available so they can sell something else
