The US turning against its allies in the first place is a bigger problem, dickhead.

    2. Brilliant_Version344 on

Did Rubio not ready what’s in the agreement the us has with Italy ?

    3. No_Conversation_9325 on

US can use their own sovereign bases. NATO is not American you, they are free to leave if they want

    4. TemporarySun314 on

I thought the US doesnt need Europe or any allies, because Americans are so great and European are ungrateful and weak anyway?

And now Americans should imagine what happens when the US pulls out of NATO, withdraw troops from Europe and loose any access to bases there…

But yeah it’s only Europeans that profit from US military presence and Europe is ripping off the US for decades, or something.

    5. The Saudis recently also refused. Can’t Rubio fuck off to the Middle East and cry there?

    6. gintas59 on

Why do they need European bases? Trump clearly said the USA doesn’t need help like a month ago.

    7. Brilliant-Smile-8154 on

The US using European bases to launch unprovoked and illegal attacks on another country is also a problem, don’t you know.

    8. SisterOfBattIe on

      >“If one of the main reasons why the US is in Nato is the ability to have forces deployed in Europe that we could project to other contingencies, and now that’s no longer the case, at least when it comes to some Nato members, that’s a problem and has to be examined.”

Hear hear. Sounds like the USA is in the Find Out stage.

It won’t be until the system their granparents built is wholly dismantled that the USA will realize the incredible privilege they were living under.

Taking Russia’s side is a problem, including revocation of sanctions, not imposing any tariffs (EU is paying tarrifs to USA, but russians were never even considered for taxation), planning economic development while selling weapons at the same time.

      2 more years of this.

    10. solvedproblem on

I see no problem with Europe not backing down on this. NATO is a defensive pact and we shouldn’t help the us start wars.

    11. America are looking to use NATO as their personal play thing. NATO is a defensive organisation. America needs to leave NATO or change it’s attitude to NATO. They will be worse off outside of NATO.

    12. OrangeHer on

usa not getting rid of trump is a bigger problem, biden wasn’t a good president but at least he didn’t consider attacking canada and greenland and didn’t start another war

    13. They can use the bases. NATO members can use NATO facilities for NATO operations. It’s not rocket science.

If Israel wants to sell you an illegal war, Israel can provide the logistical facilities for it – that’s not NATO’s problem.

    14. Fine_Violinist5802 on

Using a defensive alliance as an invasion fleet is a problem

    15. This shows that America does not view NATO as a defensive alliance

Instead, NATO is a tool for America to project its military power globally

    16. IndigoButterfl6 on

Wait, they’re saying they’re going to pull their troops out of Europe because having US troops here is doing Europe a big favour, while at the same time complaining that they can’t use European bases? Yet another thing that doesn’t make sense.

    17. goldstarflag on

Meloni embarrassed the Americans even harder than Spain did.

    18. Front-Anteater3776 on

You cant have a US national security strategy that designates EU as an enemy that must be destroyed while threatening Greenland, taking away support from Ukraine and siding with Russia on the destruction of Europe, and then expect help.

USA is an enemy that must be kicked out of Europe before Trump orders military action on us.

    19. Zorothegallade on

“Why are you refusing to house our military after our president and his army of asslicking yesmen threatened war on literally every country in the world once a week for years?”

    20. Massimo25ore on

If only the US government told an ally that a warplane was going to land in a base in Sicily… But no, there was no need to tell a vassal about that warplane on its route to Iran.

How dare a vassal to refuse that landing?

    21. chanchan_iceman on

Umm have some self awareness will ya… when you attack allies, put tariffs on them except for Russia and threatening to take Greenland or Canada

    22. Starting a war without informing the countries that host the bases you need to use to fight that war is a problem. Expecting every country to agree with everything the US says is a problem.

Each country has a right to say NO, especially is the country using the bases is the aggressor. Places like Saudi Arabia have found out the hard war the consequences when the US takes actions without telling host countries first.

    23. skildert on

As the bases won’t be used for defensive purposes… There is no problem refusing permission.

    24. TrevorMcKinney on

Using Nato bases for illegal wars is ‘a problem’.
I applaude European leaders refusing to enable the US army in their baseless agression in Iran.

    25. Maeglin75 on

NATO bases are for protecting NATO territory. The US military has no right to demand the countries these bases are in to allow the use for wars of aggression and outside of NATO territory, that were started by the US without even consulting with their allies first.

If the US wants the countries to do them favors that go beyond the treaty obligations, they have to strive for good relations with these countries. For example, threatening other NATO members with invasion and annexation doesn’t help. Neither do attempts to extort them with tariffs.

Trump is supposed to be the master of deals, isn’t he? Let’s see what he has to offer other than threats and insults.

    26. Calm_Chemist_4952 on

The problem is not NATO. The problem is the absolute worst president of all time is untrustworthy, unfit, and should be removed from office. The problem is that our constitutional checks and balances have failed. The problem is everyone knows he’s guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors, and still congress has failed to impeach and convict. The problem is the USA has become a country that cannot be trusted.

    27. Raven_Photography on

US actions in the Persian Gulf region are not NATO operations. NATO members have no reason nor requirement to provide assistance or aid to the United States and Israel in their unjustified conflict with Iran.

    28. UltraLNSS on

People don’t talk enough about how cooked the US is. It’s a country where half the politicians, who already control most state powers, are little Orbans. US is going the way of the USSR.

    29. ElephantOk4715 on

Bullies playing the victim. It’s the entire game plan of MAGA and their cult

    30. Lordhartley on

They forgot about the rules about NATO being a defence pact not a shitty attacking Epstein distraction war.

    31. eurocomments247 on

It’s a problem that your Pedo-in-Chief created when he threatened us militarily.

    32. Yesyesnaaooo on

Trump is 100 percent preparing to blame Europe to save face with his base.

Which really fucking sucks because it means there’ll be a sizeable minority in the US that hate Europe because of his lies long after that orange prick is in the ground.

      It’s fucking ridiculous.

    33. repair-it on

They keep forgetting that NATO is a defensive alliance, not a war staging platform.

    34. tomgratz on

NATO is a defense alliance. Not an offensive alliance. No one wants to be drawn into Trump’s ridiculous ill conceived war.

    35. TengoKaW on

It’s almost as if constantly bad mouthing our militaries and governments has consequences. Fuck Trump, his administration, and their Epstein file distraction war.

    36. lacerantplainer on

Hmmm strange that when you threaten people repeatedly, they don’t want to help you out.

    37. Armadilla-Brufolosa on

Everything is a problem, because he is the problem.
