Credo che questo argomento sia ciò che sta facendo aumentare il numero dei non elettori. È per questo che abbiamo deciso di metterci in gioco e offrire, quella che crediamo essere, un’alternativa migliore.

Extremely. Call me an idealist or stupid but I have high expectations and standards from those leading my country and representing my people internationally. No excuses for corruption and ineptitude.
I have voted both PN and PL. And the result is what you see around you. If you think that we are not going in the right direction as a country, if you look around and think that this is not the best way of handling things, if you think that there is a better way of handling the economy and people’s needs….. then stop voting for those that want to keep things exactly the way they are.
The duopoly wants you to think that all other choices are irrelevant or unimportant. The duopoly wants you to think that there are only 2 choices and anything outside of that is practically sinful.
Stop voting PL/PN if you want things to actually change. Keep voting PL/PN if you dont care about the future of the country.
I agree with one qualification: I would choose the lesser of the two evils for this election, just to get rid of this most evil reality, and then choose properly after that.
Of course, this is strategy speaking: if I were to truly choose (that is to say, ideally), and it didn’t matter what I thought others would choose (so again, in an ideal scenario, perhaps safe in the knowledge that everyone else is voting wisely, and not by habit) I would not choose either, and choose someone else. Though, being in the realm of the ideal, I would not choose you or any other of the third-party alternatives, either.
I mean, it’s a universal argument because it works and fundamentally makes sense. If you don’t have any faith in third parties, you should at least, be voting for the “lesser of two evils” otherwise you get clown scenarios like America and the UK, where people being stubborn drive the country into a bigger shitheap
If anything, non-voters are the bigger perpetuators of harm throughout. Their increase in numbers is just the politically uneducated choosing defeat and sinking the ship with them. A very crabs in a bucket mentality
If you aren’t voting you’re actively contributing to further harm of the country and general apathy the country is going through
Don’t vote for the major parties, but at least vote third party
I will vote only for those who have earned it by putting forward policy suggestions which make sense. So far, PN and PL failed to tackle what is truly important for the country. they won’t be getting my first preference for sure.
I think that the polls show that even if all third party voters switched to PN, PL would still outnumber PN (or at least wouldn’t safely overtake them), so I don’t see a reason why anyone should waste their vote on a party they don’t believe in.
While Momentum and other parties exist, the glass ceiling has not yet been broken, and many people still believe that the choice ultimately comes down to red or blue. So for now, I still feel that the “lesser evil” choice has to be made. I will first vote for Momentum to express my support and also show my dissatisfaction with the main parties, but I will then transfer my vote to “lesser evil” candidates because I do not want my vote to be wasted if Momentum fails to secure a seat.
Many Maltese will vote the same way they always have regardless of the party’s policies, it’s normally the same way their family votes too. No wonder nothing ever changes
Telling someone that his vote is “wasted” is very offensive.
The only wasted votes are those who actually don’t vote.
For any possibility of a third party seat the system needs to change or there needs to be a true coalition, saying anything else is just being naive.

It’s a circus. Pick a clown and vote.
