If the Gaza war can be called a genocide, what can we call the current Prime Minister when he claimed Israel “had the right” to withhold water from dying children in Gaza?

Its funny how “Jewish groups” call it offensive because of the Holocaust, as if there haven’t been other genocides in Bosnia, Rwanda, Cambodia etc.

At this point, the only thing Israel supporters are desperately holding on to as proof it isn’t a genocide is that the ICJ hasn’t officially ruled it as such yet.
Of course, should the ICJ rule it a genocide, they would instantly dismiss it and accuse it of antisemitism. Just like they do with the dozens of other groups that have called it a genocide.

Wikipedia is referring to cities in the past tense, about a third of the entire strip is completely razed. Rafah, bidens “red line” and a city kier starmer said Israel should not attack is flattened in it’s entirety. The health system and emergency services in Gaza was systematically targeted so disease runs rampant. Tens of thousands, if not hundreds lie dead.
Anyone trying to say it was a limited military operation intention to wipe out insurgents is either simply lying for an agenda or is uninformed to an astronomical degree.

Saw a video earlier of a car going through Gaza. Israel literally flattened everything. They didn’t target Hamas at all. Every building just downed to the ground.

To the surprise of no one. What Hamas did was awful but Israel’s response is hardly proportionate. They caused mass starvation in Palestine and then killed people as they collected aid. There is no universe in which that is acceptable or defensible. Israel are not defending themselves against the Palestinian people, they are using Hamas’s actions as an excuse to wipe out Palestine.

Kinda crazy that the descendants of genocide survivors end up committing genocide, but if you were to go back and change the outcome to stop the current genocide, a genocide still happens anyways.

just because other comments don’t seem to refer to it so far, in case people haven’t looked through the article- they basically say it isn’t up to them to outright say what the actions are, whether it is or isn’t a genocide or other such terms; as such they leave it up to independent publications to call it whatever they want.
