Ogni anno ILGA-Europe pubblica il suo Mappa arcobalenouna classifica di 49 paesi europei sui rispettivi quadri giuridici e politici per le persone LGBTI, ha ottenuto un punteggio compreso tra 0 e 100%. L’edizione del 2026, pubblicata oggi, racconta ciò che i suoi autori descrivono come due storie contemporaneamente: una di coraggio politico e una di pericolo reale e crescente. Per l’Armenia non dice nessuna delle due cose. Racconta una storia di stallo.

    1. Some context: Though Armenia’s 2026 score is unchanged from 2025, Belarus dropped further, pushing Armenia up 1 spot. A few years ago, Russia’s descent into reaction also pushed Armenia up 1 spot. Armenia is still in the bottom 5.

      Since libertarian American Armenians are fully committed to aligning Armenia with “the West”, there cant be any more excuses for this.

      it makes sense to be this miserably hateful when you’re surrounded by kurds turks and caucasians but that’s not the case anymore Armenians have a state and the capacity to change things for the better unlike most of the aforementioned so i look forward to seeing that change
