Not gonna lie, there is a pattern of hating NATO coming out of these “super open-minded” but far enough to the West countries that do not have to deal with Russia: the NL, Ireland, Iceland just to name a few. It seems like for a lot of these countries, European-centric only equals non-American, no matter how hard this logic messes up Eastern European countries.
