Ho notato che i graffiti realizzati deliberatamente in Armenia sembrano estremamente belli e si adattano perfettamente all’atmosfera della città. Considerando quanti vecchi edifici abbiamo, potrebbe esserci una qualche forma di programma incentivato dal governo per dipingere gli edifici più vecchi (magari non solo gli edifici) su scala più ampia, specialmente nelle aree visibili, per aggiungere quel fascino alla città? Può anche fungere da soluzione temporanea per edifici dall’aspetto obsoleto che risaltano sempre più negli spazi pubblici.

I like the carpet one too, but doesn’t it violate some of the civilian codes? If it can stay, that would be awesome!
Oh man so much has been added since last year! This makes me want to go back even more than before. Love the pop of color especially for the grey buildings that have no architectural style to them.
I actually think that if executed properly at scale this can become a major city identity and a tourist attraction. Our country has never lacked cultural depth but we have been very bad at displaying it to the outside world.
It doesn’t have to be everywhere, but a few deliberately chosen publicly visible places can have a lot of impact. It doesn’t have to be exclusive with residential buildings. A couple of old tunnels/underpasses(this one could be awesome), older school buildings, benches, utility boxes, old looking sidewalks, stair rises, playgrounds…
It can actually be more prevalent in certain selected districts, for example Kond has many old historic city buildings but also some which genuinely look quite bad, mixing the old historic city with modern murals to mask the less pretty ones can have amazing charm.
I also really loved this children’s playground at Khachkars square, looks so stylish.
