      Craig proved to be such an inspired casting, I hope Amazon won’t fuck it up like they did with Rings of Power eh. Also it’s crazy to think Craig was selected in 2005 lol.

      Edit since someone replied to me and banned me immediately xD I’m as anti-conservative as possible haha, I’ve no problem whatsoever with non-white actors or progressive messaging if it’s done well, this has nothing to do with me being bored to death with new LOTR: mediocre writing, mediocre acting, Sauron being a rather uninspired TEDx speaker, storylines I didn’t give a damn about. I loved RTD’s *Years and Years* and *It’s a Sin*, I was lukewarm at best when it comes to his new *Doctor Who* run. It just wasn’t written very well, that’s all; nothing to do with politics really, as I’m from the same political side 😉

      Same with future Bonds – pumping insane money into such films or series isn’t going to rescue them from the fact that it’s often terribly bland behind all the fancy CGI.

      I hope they get someone who looks fairly “normal”. Bond shouldn’t be an action hero. I thought Craig was an okay pick.

      I wonder why people want a famous actor.

      Isn’t Bond supposed to make some random actor famous and not the other way around?

      They will cast a bald guy and rename the character Jeff Bondos. He will heavily rely on a multinational shipping company for his travels around the world

      Thing is, when Craig did Layer Cake it was like a perfect audition for bond! Looking back he was an onbvious choice to be in the mix, and they made an awesome choice!

      this is exciting! i cant wait to find out who the new bond will be. my fav is brosnan (goldeneye was the first bond movie i saw in theatre) with dalton a close second. craig was also gritty as they come. i like the darker bonds (sorry, mr Moore).

      If we’re not looking further afield for a Matthias Schoenaerts or a Kevin Janssens, then I don’t know what we’re doing.

      What role does an 007-agent have inside the MI6? Is it a position for experienced agent or a beginner position?

      It always appears to me that it’s a very high position. So not something for young agents.

      I will remind people that the casting of Craig as Bond was highly controversial when it happened.

      So. No matter who is casted. I will reserve my judgement until I see their acting.

      Edit: Also. James Bond enters public domain in 2035. So, even if the person they choose doesn’t end up being great, you’re still gonna get independent adaptations of the original books alongside the “official” films soon enough.

      And this time bond is all about rapping and hanging with the kids on a chair turned around.
      And now his only gadget is a iPhone with a superAI that installs garbage software and leaks Intel trough the cloud.

      I have watched ALL James Bond movies and in 💯 percents of each cinema there ALWAYS appeared an 007 on the screen sooner or later. Sure – they definitely change the time each time but I’m not buying this AT ALL. It’s a waste of the money tax payers pay just so they can pay the money of the expensive auditions – they cost a lot and are absolutely not necessary! Just go to the cinemas!
