In questo momento, il voto sulla pagina Facebook di Pashinyan riguardo al perdono per gli automobilisti ubriachi è di 5 a 1 a favore del perdono. Cosa ne pensi?
bro I am all being forgiving as a society but legit 50% of the reason I am not living in Armenia as a diasporan is the whole Armenians being to laxed about rules. I will give you an example, people will consistently block the street, your driveway etc, if you tell them to move they will, like it is easy to solve problems by talking to folks, but god damn, they wont stop doing it, like why should i constantly ask people to not block my car in?! and this is just one example, it applies to every aspect of life.

I’m more interested in what people think about PM doing facebook polls. This is not normal, right?

Is this only for drunk driving or are there also other things that may cause people to have their licenses taken away?
Either way, I think we should be more strict with driving in this country because the amount of stupidity on the road is horrendous. There is absolutely no excuse for drunk driving, especially when cabs in this country are not expensive, and I think we should be very harsh with people who choose to drive while under the influence of any substance. If that means taking their licenses away forever, so be it.

A little backstory: there is a rule that if you are caught drunk driving, your driver’s license is suspended for one year. After that year, you must pass both the written and driving tests to get your license back. Most drivers cannot pass the exams. One taxi driver mentioned to NP that he has tried 13 times and still cannot pass the driving test.
Now, they are asking for forgiveness so they can get their licenses back after one year without taking the exams. Many citizens consider this to be election bribery.

It might make sense if we had competent police, but we don’t. Drunk drivers rarely get arrested, only after accidents they’re caught.
I think the punishment for drunk driving should be harsh, among others. Too many people without seatbelts and using phone during driving.
Also the poll on social media without verification is indeed stupid, anyone can manipulate votes.

Genuinely how tf is this normal? Why is he making state decisions using polls on a social media platform that is notorious for being filled to the brim with bots?

I mean regardless if this becomes a thing or not, Armenians in general are too lax with letting their drunk family members get away with driving. The culture needs to change before anything else. Shame needs to be given to anyone who brags sometimes about how good they are driving while piss drunk or buzzed.

Just pick a developed EU country’s policy, and mimic it. I don’t see any need to reinvent the wheel here.
