Sto lavorando alla pittura di alcuni ufficiali belgi per un gioco di miniature della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Ho bisogno di aiuto per trovare i nomi di questi due gentiluomini. Essendo io stesso non belga, qualsiasi suggerimento per nomi che sarebbero stati comuni per quell’epoca sarebbe molto apprezzato.

But you can name your officers raymond or louis😁
French names would probably be best suited, since officers were part of the elite, which would usually only speak French.
Up to the point that the majority Dutch speaking soldiers couldn’t understand their own officers.
If you have two, you can call them Jansen en Janssen / Dupond and Dupont
One should definitely be called Xavier Waterslaeghers.

Eduard Vereecke and Maurice Van Poucke; those make it very ambiguous as to which part of the country they are from.
But, as someone else suggested, name one Xavier Waterslaeghers. It’s the name of a beloved character in a TV series who’s in the army. The actor portraining him passed away in 2020.
Is this miniature game called Bolt Action by any chance?
