      Seems to be an issue with the filo dough. My mother has never been able to get it right throughout the years of trying.

      The dough doesnt veen have close to enough fat it looks extremely dry

      A bit too dry and lacks some fat between the layers.

      It might as well been how you assembled it. A way to introduce more liquid/moisture is by separating the filling between a couple of layers.

      Nice byrek me mish edhe qepe 😋enjoy! I like that you neatly folded the corners with the fork pattern 🙂

      (So I do 10 layers about, 5 for the bottom, 5 top
      Roll one layer about size of a salad plate

      On the side I keep a bowl with olive oil and a spoon

      And throw about a tablespoon on each layer…

      Then put layers one over other and roll out into one layer a bit larger than the size of my baking pan

      This video shows the technique in a simple way, but most people use a thinner rolling pin, making it easier to roll out dough wider and thinner
