He could be a Nigerian Prince who has lots of monies

I got one that started “dear mam/dad…”, as if someone would be texting what they know is a parent’s number from their own new phone, but not be quite sure which parent it was

I love it though how they send you a text to your number asking to send a text to them. 😂 Its so dumb thougj that they filter out potential candidates for the scam.
Congrats, he’s a bit careless losing that phone, but had enough sense to buy another one, remember your number and send you the new number.

I would keep it going for a bit, ask them to buy a chinese on the way home and have them drop it off at a friend’s place (yours) and see what happens lol

My dad got it yesterday, thought it was my sister. He rang me giving out that she’d changed her number again. Had to explain to him it was a scam.

Going by these texts, I have 3 kids running around Dublin. I’m a female in Cork only been in dublin to get cancer treatment that’s made me infertile…
I’ve also gotten a believable text and follow up voicemail about a gucci watch ready for pick up at a jeweller in the north side of Dublin… Which I’ve never been to or is even real.
