The whole world say we play boring football. We got where we are with no one else believing we would but us Spaniards. The exact same thing happened in Germany two years ago where apparently we wouldnāt beat Germany, France or England. We all know how that ended.
Now, respectfully, leave us alone please.
Final against Argentina will be won by whoever plays best on the day. Simple as that.

We will win against Argentina and Messi with respect and good football. We want nothing to do with all these posts that just want us to win because they hate Argentina.

I have no words for how Germany stole the 2014 World Cup final, and the attitude against Brazil. Thatās why theyāll be paying for it through karma for years and years.

Ya estamos cansados de esa banda de tramposos y villeros sin principios que tiene que armar bronca en todos los partidos bajo el amparo del dolepa

Aren’t Spain and Argentina actually like borthers or cousins? or the left wing and right wing of a hypercountry to some extend…

It is honestly exhausting to see how much of modern football fandom has degenerated into pure hate-watching.
It is incredibly tiring that so many people are backing Spain not because they appreciate their brilliant style of play, but simply because they are obsessed with seeing Argentina lose. This lazy narrative that Argentina is somehow uniquely unsportsmanlike is a massive double standard that completely collapses the moment you look at actual facts.
When European goalkeepers like Jordan Pickford or Tim Krul use intense mind games, delay penalty takers, or throw the ball away, the media praises them for their elite mentality and tactical edge. But when Emi MartĆnez does the exact same thing, it is labeled as vulgar and classless. We saw the same selective outrage in the 2022 World Cup match against the Netherlands. The world condemned Argentina’s reaction at the end, but conveniently ignored over two hours of Dutch players repeatedly surrounding and verbally harassing Argentine players as they walked up to take their penalties. People love to share the reaction, but they always edit out the provocation.
Treating a football match as some sort of moral crusade where one team represents justice and the other is evil is just childish. This entire tournament has been toxic enough from the start, with anthems being booed in stadiums (almost all fans do it) and social media filled with constant vitriol. Spain is a fantastic team that plays beautiful football, and Argentina is a resilient, elite squad. We should be able to put the resentment aside and just enjoy what is going to be an incredible game.

The reality is that genuine sportsmanship doesn’t farm social media engagement, so it gets completely ignored. No one talks about Lionel Messi physically stopping his teammates from singing a mocking chant after winning the 2021 Copa AmĆ©rica, or how he spent twenty minutes comforting Neymar on the steps of the MaracanĆ£. The actual players from both Spain and Argentina respect each other immensely, play in the same clubs, and have done nothing but praise each other leading up to this final.

Please do, the Orange one would have an apoplectic seizure š
Felicitaciones España, campeón del mundo 2026. Saludos desde Argentina. Nos vemos el Domingo
