How do you have a Polish passport?? Sorry if I somehow missed that in your post. Have a nice trip.
Don’t eat out.
Don’t order Uber Eats.
Avoid żabka.
Home cooked meals are the cheapest option you have these days.
Cook for yourself and don’t go to restaurants if you want to save money. 🙂
Bar mleczny, Biedronka.
Check Biedronka and/or Lidl apps for sales!
In bigger cities you can find places that sell cooked food by weight.
Those types of places usually have massive discounts for everything for an hour or two before closing to get rid of unsold food.
Other than that just try cooking yourself, it’s by far the cheapest option
Don’t do groceries at Carrefour
Cook at home when possible
McDonald’s meal deal
Zabka deals
Go to a PSS Spolem deli counter, they got cheap chicken and other meats at affordable prices.
Be prepared to have an unusually long queue waiting outside of you, poles may likely presume that you have whatever the trending noodle dish is 😉
If you shop somewhere regularly it’s good to download a loyalty app. That way you can save some money on food, especially if you search through the coupons and „occasions” beforehand and plan accordingly. Some shops offer a few % discount on everything if you use the app on certain days.
Convenience stores like Żabka are expensive, try to avoid them if possible. If you want to go to Żabka regularly download an app.
BTW, when in eatery, ask for gołąbki, it is Polish kimbap, or bigos, it is Polish kimchi.
Why are you holding Polish passport ?
Bułka, smalec
Save on food? Buy in Biedra/Lidl/Aldi and cook at home.

Rice is cheap
Make a little before party when going out 🙂
Best saving method is cooking at home. If you eat outside you can do Kebab or Bar Mleczny or Bar Azja (Asian Restaurants) and be full for around 25-30 zl. You can do fast food too, it is affordable being around 30-40zl but it is not that filling.
If you really wanna save money, you can get uber eats new user coupons. Just use free new phone numbers and mobile data (for ip adress) and order for ul.XXX 13 just order 13A, 13B etc.
They give them away near Politechnika and Zloty Tarasy. They in most cases have 25zl off for orders over 45zl, and you get uber gold for free first month. And when you find 2 for 1 price deal voila. I used to pay for 2-3 days worth of pizza 30zl, stuff it in freezer and heat up (160 8 min, 180 6 min without pre heating) with airfryer after washing it under sink (because it is frozen, it is just the right amount of humidity) for crisp outside and smooth/fluffy insidr with semi-crisp bottom (when you use cooking paper to save more on water by not needing to wash or clean the airfryer)
Or you can just enjoy your stay and only go to restaurants with up to 40-60zl on google maps and try to cook at home regulsrly. But its ur choice.
In gdansk there soon will be annual saints dominics fair, its biggest in europe 🙂
U Polish brotha
We hope you like it in here! 😀
Generally, what u eat current weekend is basen on what is on sale in biedronka.
Come to Gdańsk ))
Very interesting to see this post randomly as I am currently in Korea:) Awesome country
Depending on where you stay, check out the app TooGoodToGo.
Sometimes you can make a near deal on half price off from bakeries, catering, hotel buffets etc. The bigger the city, the better selection but also ‘competiton’.
You can save a lot by not going to restaurants. Visit common supermarkets and you will find there many good quality foods already prepared. You cannot go wrong by going in the morning to the store and pick up few items for breakfast. The choices are endless and you will find Asian food as well. The very good choice is also to stop by at the bakery where in touristy places you can buy also sandwich or salad.
