It is. Some fools have bought into the state propaganda to blame Spain for all the problems we have had in our 200 years as an independent state the others are just joking.

Most Mexicans with internet access are actually of Spanish descent.
Around 93% of Mexicans are “mestizo”
And at least 50% are “mestizo” of European descent.
Mostly Spanish.
