Federalism isn’t pragmatic, it’s a radical ideological stance. So pragmatic federalism is an impossibility.

Part of the plan is to give a near zero percent tax on capital gains for investmentw in select startups. Like the US currently does.
I understand that this is a thing that causes companies to move to the US and that needs to stop, but come on, its also a race to the bottom on taxing capital.. rich get richer and pay no tax.
I wonder if pragmatic federalism would include asking the public across the EU if they consent?

Or that we, European businesses will have access to the EU company registration made for big shots foreign companies in order to collect some VAT from them in retails? Or that VAT invoicing between businesses will be abandoned to avoid an unnecessary burden for small and medium businesses and above all to kill the billions of euros stolen by organized crime every year under false VAT refunds? /s
