Of course you’re not wrong. I stay out of those subs because I want to protect my peace and keep my blood pressure low, and you’re not going to change any hearts or minds with facts. Facts are irrelevant to people like this. They’ll dig back to the age of dinosaurs to try to find justification for their imperialist ways. Just be happy they have no gas and can’t realistically invade Georgia again anytime soon- unless they do it on tricycles over the mountains.

Also an instructive tidbit is that while what’s Russia/Ukraine today was basically a Slavic-populated swamp administered by a foreign-born ruler (the Swedes, vis a vis Rurik & Friends), Georgia was a mini-empire and flourishing just fine on its own as an actual little civilization, while the Slavic tribes had to request Scandinavians intervene to make them stop killing each other
