Non posso fare a meno di sottolineare l’ironia della nostra realtà.
I combustibili fossili stanno letteralmente contribuendo a creare le condizioni che rendono la logistica dei combustibili fossili meno affidabile.
Interruzioni delle consegne a causa delle condizioni di siccità aggravate, come potete immaginare, dal cambiamento climatico. È un po’ come un virus che si moltiplica fino a perdere la vita del proprio ospite: bruciare combustibili fossili sta ora distruggendo la propria catena di approvvigionamento attraverso fenomeni climatici sia acuti che cronici.

Has the strait of hormus dried out?
Luxembourg and Europe as a whole cannot move fast enough away from oil. I am excited for a future when we dont have to smell exhaust fumes while on our way to work or dropping children off at school or shopping.
It is an easy observation to make, perhaps a bit too obvious even, but not an irrelevant one.
It doesn’t take the gift of clairvoyance to tell that the days of fossil fuels are numbered – especially when we’re talking about transporting people. (No doubt heavy industry simply cannot function without fossil fuels yet)
Electric cars, renewable energy sources, a much more elaborate public transport network and more bycicle/scooter-friendly infrastructure are the inevitable path forward.
