More like a whimper
It’s doesn’t really mean anything yet that Labour have caught up in polls again now that Burnham is in charge, it’s about whether they can actually keep it. Give it a couple months before celebrating.
But, it does seem like Reform are floundering now. I think both Labour and Tories will overtake them by Christmas.
In the YouGov polls Reform went from 29% in mid May to 23% today. That’s -6% in just two months.
What’s really interesting is Reform seems to be losing the elderly vote (65+) aka their biggest age range supporters.
May: 35% Reform, 25% Tories
July: 27% Reform, 34% Tories
Seems like they’re slowly switching back to Tories, while left wing Green / Lib Dems voters are swinging back to Labour.
Despite everything, 2029 is probably going to be Labour vs Tories again.
No wonder Reform have been gagging for a snap election. They simply won’t have the momentum by 2028/29. Councils falling apart, base fragmenting, and Farage in deep with some serious corruption allegations.
Apparently the Trumpian magic doesn’t work in the UK. There his corruption only increases his support, but Farage’s corruption has actually damaged his standing in the polls. Only a little, it’s true, but a noticeable fall nevertheless.

What’s driving the shift? Are people realizing Reform is insane?
All the Reform populists will need to do is, at the right moment, make a big noise about another high‑profile case of migrant violence against native Britons, and their ratings will soar again.
And since Musk is on their side, rest assured- X will do everything to make sure that every Briton gets the full story in the most vivid colours, and that public opinion is manipulated
Unfortunately, that’s just the reality
