*ASML plans to lift Low-NA EUV output by roughly 30% in 2027.*

Made in Europe; the machine that makes the machines. ASML alone makes the machines that manufacture advanced chips for Apple, Nvidia, Intel etc.

ASML holds a monopoly on the production of EUV scanners (essential for manufacturing the world’s most advanced chips, used in artificial intelligence and smartphones). However, ASML relies entirely on Zeiss for its hyper-precise mirror and lens systems. If Zeiss fails to deliver these optical systems, ASML cannot assemble the scanners.

This is a good upgrade on the Zeiss part of the supply chain.
Chip War by Chris Miller brings much insight and context into this industry. I highly recommend it.

That’s amazing – more investment in EU in this area is definitely needed!

Most important company in EU at the moment. China is trying hard to copy their devices.
