Dictating to women what they should or should not wear is comparable to what Iran is doing, he argued. “Don’t come and give us lessons here in Belgium,” retorted Pierre-Yves Jeholet, attacking his opponent of the day. “There are rules, we respect them. If you don’t like it, you don’t have to stay in Belgium.”

Words which shocked both his interlocutor and the presenter of the debate. “Where do you want me to go back, Mr. Jeholet?” asked Mr. Boukili a few minutes later.

We have separation between church and state. Those are the rules. Anyone who doesn’t like it is free to go to a theocracy.

Respect the country that gave you the freedom you didn’t get in the one you were born in, and it’s an easy exercise, just keep your beliefs/religion in your home and do not try to spread unwanted ideas.
