I am so sorry that happened to you. Not sure if you are aware of the situation around that region, but people there are very cautious for any suspicious activity and could’ve mistaken you for a spy. That doesn’t justify what they did to you by no means and you should take appropriate measure if deemed necessary.
We really need to make serious charges for such shit. This is peak disgusting what they did with you
