DB Navigator is the official Deutsche Bahn App and in most cases the best one. It even shows Flixtrain connections so you will not miss any options in that app, and you can find “Sparpreise” which are the cheapest tickets for DB you can get. Also stores all your online booked tickets.
You can just use DB Navigator, the official app of DB. It also has regional connections. If you only travel with regional trains and not the IC or ICE then the Deutschlandticket is probably the best option for you.
I would still use DB Navigator, it is official app and does not take any fees and shows if your train is delayed, which usually is
DB navigator, ftw! It even shows private train connections, and it has the best prices available of DB trains.
