Hi! I’m a foreigner studying in Germany. As of June I will start working in a Hiwi position. I just received this e-mail. If I exceed marginal employment, will I get taxed? Is it worth it to keep the number of hours?
I don’t know if I’ll be in Germany when I retire, so I don’t know if I benefit from paying contributions. I’m in my first year of my master’s.
