Today you’re buying him another one. Rolling power outages across the country have slowed his production way down. Now he’ll be able to have two printers running at once when the power’s on, helping him meet the ZSU’s needs. When I asked him if he could use a second one, he answered:
>I would not give up the second one, because precisely because of the blackout, thanks to the second printer, it would be possible to print more. Although the electricity tariff has been raised by almost two times, I will get away with it. After all, it’s all for our victory.

He also showed me one of the things he’s printing these days: these flying drone repeaters. They boost drones’ ranges by acting as a relay point between the drone operator on the ground and the drone further ahead. Its absolutely a good idea but the loiter time and range for long distance repeaters obviously can be increased if you have a winged drone, or hybrid of such approaches. Distance and range between repeaters also can be increased with a degree of directionality on the emitter and receiver. This component would need to vector ideally, and could keep track of targets in a number of ways I think. But this would be a multidisciplinary effort.
